Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Framework & Agreements:

Develop and negotiate new frame agreements for relevant procurement scopes to optimize long-term value.
Maintain and periodically review existing frame agreements to ensure alignment with company goals.
Standardize contract templates and commercial clauses to ensure legal and commercial consistency.
Proactively manage contract renewals and track expiry dates to prevent service interruptions.

Compliance & Audit Leadership:
Lead procurement audits for both new and existing suppliers to ensure adherence to Vard’s standards.
Conduct periodic compliance checks and gap analyses to identify and rectify process vulnerabilities.
Ensure all corrective actions from audits are implemented effectively and on schedule.

Risk Management & Reporting:
Maintain critical supplier risk registers and define robust mitigation strategies.
Monitor market trends and supplier performance to provide strategic insights.
Provide regular reports and updates directly to the Vice President - Procurement regarding strategic initiatives.

Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional procurement certifications (CIPS/CPSM) are an advantage.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement/ supply chain, with at least 2 years in a strategic or specialist role. Shipbuilding or heavy industry background is highly preferred.

Skills & Competencies:
Advanced expertise in contract drafting and commercial law.
Proven experience in supplier auditing and compliance management.
Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel for data analysis).
Strong strategic thinking and risk assessment abilities.
Superior negotiation and problem-solving skills under high-pressure environments.
Fluency in English and Vietnamese (both written and spoken) for professional corporate communication.
Self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset.
