Key Responsibilities:

General Inspection Activities:


Conduct daily inspections to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.

Inspect incoming equipment and materials to confirm they meet approval requirements.

Perform unscheduled inspections to identify and address non-conformities.

Inspection Coordination and Reporting:

Work with Classification Societies and Ship Owners to address recommendations and take corrective actions.

Coordinate pre-inspections with production departments and report issues accurately.

Prepare and submit Requests for Inspection (RFI) and maintain proper inspection reports.

Report all project-related quality issues to the Quality Manager.

Quality Coordination:

Organize and participate in quality meetings as needed.

Coordinate with the Project Manager, Engineering, and Production Departments to to resolve quality issues and address recommendations from the Ship Owner and Classification Society.

Qualifications:

Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Naval, Marine, Mechanical, or General Engineering.

Experience:

Minimum 2 years in quality inspection, shipbuilding, or a related field..

Proficient in machinery, piping, outfitting installation standards, and testing/commissioning processes.

Familiarity with hull standards and shipbuilding technology.

Knowledge of national and international regulations from Classification Societies and shipbuilding authorities.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong organizational and methodical work style.

Fluent in written and spoken English.

Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office).

Interest in shipbuilding technical issues and a proactive attitude toward quality management.
