[Oil Gas Vietnam]

PVTrans OilField Services is a professional provider of maritime transportation and services to the oil and gas industry in Viet Nam and abroad (FSO/FPSO, O&M...). We are now hiring Buyer to join our team as follows:

Job accountabilities:

• Ensure materials required for operation are sufficiently purchased.
• Proceed necessary works to get on time of purchase orders, service orders from all approved purchase requisition and service request.
• Liaise with Supplier to ensure that all purchase orders were received, acknowledged and delivered on time.
• Be the focal contact point for Supplier and client on expediting purchase orders, service orders and repair & return items.
• Negotiate with external vendors to secure the most advantageous terms.
• Review the ordering of necessary goods and services with offshore and technical team.
• Inform all related department if critical delivery is going to be late.
• Track and report key functional metrics to improve effectiveness.
• Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement cost.
• Manage procurement activities to make sure KPI procurement achievement.
• Collaborate with department managers to clarify purchase requisitions, identify departmental needs, and refine specifications for future purchase orders.
• Follow proper channels to obtain purchase authorization according to company policy.

Minimum Competencies:

• Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Economic, or related areas
• 3 years of experience in Supply Chain in oil & gas industry
• Good knowledge of supplier management.
• Experience in collecting and analyzing data.
• Good communication, written, listening and presentation skills in the English language.
• Proficient use of office application.
• Having deep experience and knowledge in using/setting up procurement system

Salary: Competitive
Working location: HCMC office Monday-Friday (8 hours/day)
