Key Responsibilities:
1. Material Planning & Coordination:
• Track material plans and project progress to ensure timely availability of materials according to production schedules.
• Monitor the status of material orders and deliveries.
• Update material information and statuses in the management systems (Procurement Plan, Project Material Plan, and Master File).
• Proactively communicate with Coordinators and Vard Interior Vard Interior to track critical project requirements and highlight urgent items.
• Organize regular material planning meetings with coordinators, take minutes, report outcomes, and notify warehouse staff of material usage plans.
2. BOM & Documentation Control:
• Calculate and verify the Bill of Materials (BOM) to ensure correct material quantities and types as per design and production needs.
• Check and compare Purchase Orders (POs), Packing Lists, and other delivery documents with BOM requirements.
• Report any discrepancies or issues with material deliveries or documents.
• Maintain and organize all material-related documents including Material Requests, Quotations, POs, BOMs, Certificates, Material Data Sheet (MDS) & Material Safety Data Sheet (SDS).
• Review material usage against BOMs for each project and highlight any variances.
3. Warehouse Monitoring & Reporting:
• Review consumable material usage and forecast demand to support purchasing aligned with ship delivery schedules.
• Assist with project material reporting for import/export departments and support periodic inventory counts and stock monitoring.
4. Drawing & Document Handling:
• Control and organize drawings and related documentation for material preparation and verification.
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
• Experience: Prior experience in material control, warehouse, or procurement is an advantage.
• Skills & Competencies:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, data analysis, reporting).
• Experience with IFS or other ERP software is a strong advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings is an advantage.
• Strong numerical and verification skills with attention to detail.
• Logical thinking and systematic working style.
• Good command of spoken and written English and Vietnamese.
