Key Responsibilities:
Quality Control:
Conduct thorough inspections from raw material until final FAT, including visual assessments, measurements, and functional tests to ensure proper installation, alignment, and functionality of mechanical equipment.
Verify compliance with drawings, specifications, and standards.
Identify and document any deviations or non-conformities and initiate corrective actions.
Generate detailed inspection reports, including findings, recommendations, and corrective action plans.
Technical Expertise:
Possess a strong understanding of welding, machining, hydraulics, and assembly processes.
Understand geometric tolerance symbols.
Stay updated on the standards, codes, and regulations.
Project Collaboration:
Collaborate closely with Project Manager, engineers, and contractors to ensure alignment with project requirements.
Provide technical guidance and support to project teams.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement effective solutions.
- Contribute to the development of quality control procedures and work instructions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Mechanical/ Painting Inspector.
Have CSWIP 3.1 or FROSIO/BGAS/NACE certification is advantageous.
Have knowledge of marine equipment, including Gangway, Lars (Launch and Recovery System), Crane, and Winch.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Fluency in written and spoken English and Vietnamese.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
