PVTrans Oilfield Service is looking for Lead Instrument Engineers for an exciting opportunity for Sao Vang – Dai Nguyet Project.
The Instrument Lead Engineer will exhibit exemplary safety and supervisory leadership in all matters pertaining to instrumentation maintenance works.
He is responsible for ensuring his subordinates are competent to carry out their allotted tasks and will liaise effectively with other key management personnel, subcontractors, inspectors, and external ad hoc services.
Deputies in the Maintenance Supervisor Role when required.
Specific Accountabilities:
Report to the Maintenance Supervisor, accountabilities include:
· Manage & supervise effectively
· Maintain and adjust the condition of instrumentation
· Monitor and assess the performance and condition of instrumentation
· Diagnose faults in instrument
· Monitor and maintain environmental control measures
· Emergency response role (see station bill)
- Carry out Emergency Response role as per station Bill
- Demonstrate competence during Emergency Response Drills and training exercises
· Training & competency
- Achieve the desired competency level as described in the CASYs Job Competency Profile, mentor and assess others within your sphere of responsibility or as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor
- Facility Specific Training Matrix - VN-05_1DEV-HCM-O-TA-016
Minimum Competencies:
· Technical or Academic Qualification in process instrumentations/electrical.
· Technical apprenticeship for electrical and instrument.
· Experience (5 years) in electrical & instrument works on oil & gas industrial.
· Competent to carry out isolations as required by the PTW system.
· Ability to work in a lead technical capacity as part of a small multi- discipline team and to motivate personnel.
· Accredited Competency Assessor Qualification Preferred
· Ability to effectively communicate information at all levels within the offshore and onshore organization.
· Good knowledge of instrument / control maintenance methods and equipment.
· Proficient in English both written and verbal.
Salary: Competitive
Working location: Onshore - Vung Tau then moving to offshore work in Q2 2020
