PVTrans OFS are now hiring Metering Engineer (offshore) to join Sao Vang Dai Nguyet project as follows:
Specific Accountabilities:
• Support Production group regarding planning and facilitating those activities and resources with respect to engineered project, major repair, modifications and routine inspection and maintenance activities.
• Provide technical and operations assistance relating to all aspects of metering equipment maintenance, trouble shooting, inspection, repairs and the related documentation.
• Assure performance of metering calibration and maintenance activities on gas and condensate metering equipment including turbine meter, orifice, ultrasonic and coriolis as specified within procedure standards.
• Ensure metering system/equipment and associated system are in safe and effective condition.
• Ensure the reliability and availability of the instruments on the respective for both asset fiscal and allocation gas metering system.
• Track performance of each metering systems to verify performance within target uncertainly levels. Calculate any adjustment necessary if measurement error occur.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve metering system uncertainty, reliability and performance.
• Prepare and update metering procedures and standards.
• Be responsible to monitor and assured correct inputs for calculations such as combined gas compressibility, calorific value and molecular weight at gas metering package flow computer.
• Liaise with third party calibrations on or off site and witness when required to ensure compliance.
• Prepare measurement tickets and associated paperwork to ensure accurate custody transfer of deliveries and receipts.
• Maintain meter factor and densitometer trend data and perform and/or coordinate measurement equipment calibrations. Input all data on a timely basis to maintain the control chart database.
• Ensure planning and execution schedule of all analyzers and meters, ensuring maintenance and calibration requirements are met, validated, proved and recertified in accordance of approved procedures, are functional, within date and certified, as required.
• Ensure all planned preventative and corrective maintenance on respective metering skids are recorded in CMMS and followed through. Report any deviations or concerns to Maintenance Supervisor as appropriate.
Minimum Competencies
• Bachelor degree in electronics/instrumentation/process engineering with minimum 3 years of experience in maintenance of metering system within Oil and Gas industry.
• Working experience of liquid/gas metering system including but not limited to Flow computing/calculation, allocation, AGA8 calculation, ultrasonic metering, Coriolis meter, turbine meter, orifice plates.
• Knowledge of relevant API, AGA, ISO standards.
• Understand of Gas Chromatograph and associated compositional analysis technique would be an advantage.
• Familiar with hydrocarbon accounting regimes in which sales gas and condensate, fuel gas and flare quantities are allocated to different installations & / entities.
• Good communication skills in English, both verbally and written.
• Proficient in computer skill.
