Looking for 3 Engineering Designers (Drilling) - Vietnamese Guys

• Working location: Office - HCM City
• Project duration: 9 months

A. Summary: Undertaking design related activities on Oil & Gas Drilling & Production equipment.

B. Job Responsibilities:

1. Engineering Design:

• Use of 2D and/or 3D CAD software in design.
• Participate and support engineers on product design and development, including associated activities of: Design modelling and layouts, creating and maintaining the product lifecycle management in the engineering database system.
• Prepare machine detail and basic/general arrangement layout drawings to ASME Y14.5 standards and format and documentation which meets engineering policy and procedures to enable the manufacturing & production group and other departments to produce and market the Company's product.
• Create and/or modify 3D models and drawings to manufacturing standards for Pro-NC manufacture/Model Based Design utilizing company protocols and parametric practices.
• Maintain the accuracy of native files in the product lifecycle management system.
• Undertake design verification, which may include but not limited to: design reliability, design for manufacture, simple failure analysis, design reviews, simple calculations for basic design verification purposes.
• Identifying and assess hazards & specify actions to control risks to people & environment.

2. Develop, Specify and Agree Deliverables for Design Activities

• Participate in design and value engineering reviews.
• Provide technical support to mainly internal customers.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or indicated by responsibilities

3. Planning Design Activities

• Establish a robust planning & organization process with clear understanding of the schedule & prioritization for the assigned design duties & activities.

C. Qualification and experience requirements:

• Associate’s Degree in engineering, design, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years experience and delivered engineering works before.
• Experience with Creo/ Pro-E
• Experience with engineering works: 3D modelling, layout, details, BOM management, GD&T, calculation (manual or with applications).
• Familiarization with engineering process.
• Preferable candidate who has ePIMS/Team Center knowledge/experience.
