Key Responsibilities:
Commissioning & Testing:
Oversee the commissioning of ship electrical and automation systems according to the ship's technical specifications.
Conduct thorough testing of electrical and automation systems and demonstrate their functionality to Class and Owner, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
Prepare for and actively participate in Sea Trials, conducting tests and preparing comprehensive reports as assigned.
Technical Support:
Assist technical engineers in the creation and updating of electrical drawings, connection diagrams, and cable lists.
Monitor design progress, manage drawings, and maintain technical documentation.
Develop technical specifications and Bills of Materials for procurement.
Technical supervision of the manufacturing department and outsourcing Company.
Documentation & Handover:
Manage of technical documents from outsourcing Company.
Handover Electrical system to the Owner and the vessel crew, including Report and training.
Comply with approved drawings from Authorities, ship Owner and the Classification society.
Other Duties:
Coordinate interfaces from different system providers.
Coordinate interfaces between Production, Engineering and Commissioning departments to check the quality and process on vessel.
Coordinate the information flow with relevant parties.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.
Experience:
Experience in shipbuilding, ship design, or relevant operational fields.
Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in a similar role within a foreign company.
Skills & Competencies:
Fluency in written and spoken English and Vietnamese.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Attention to detail.
Proven process management skills.
Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
