PVTrans OilField Services is a professional provider of maritime transportation and services to the oil and gas industry in Viet Nam and abroad (FSO/FPSO, O&M...). We are currently looking for suitable candidates to join Sao Vang Dai Nguyet project as follows:

1- Mechanical Spares Engineer - Work at Vung Tau office

Minimum Competencies
  • Good communication skills and a good command of English.
  • Significant mechanical/RE experience (min 5 years) in Oil and Gas industry.
  • Preferably also with static/structural experience.
  • Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Knowledge and skills of preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance techniques.
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings (e.g. P&IDs, single-lines, layout, C&E, datasheets, etc.)
  • Knowledge and skills of RAM/RCM/FMECA/RBI/LOPA/SIL techniques.
  • Prior CMMS/EAM/ERP experience.
  • Computer literate and excellent proficiency in MS Excel / Access / Words.
Brief Specific Accountabilities:
  • Create materials list and assign to equipment.
  • Identify/ register CMMS code for new parts, associate existing spares to each equipment in CMMS.
  • Inspect goods delivered to LSB, issue Non-Conformance report if any.
  • Identify OEM part number for spares in stock and the interchangeable parts.
  • Responsible of preservation of storage spares and maintain.
  • Attending repairing/ testing of equipment at vendor workshop with mechanical equipment.
  • Pre-inspect tools or equipment received at LSB or at vendor workshop before loading offshore.
  • Update, improve PM or CM plan routine on CMMS based on actual condition and advice from management, CMMS Admin or Offshore.
  • Build up BOM for each package and equipment. Support offshore team on spares' information for mechanical spares.
  • Responsible of and ensure Mechanical/RE Engineering maintenance program in CMMS is being built in accordance with all codes and best practices and in compliance with all procedures and maintenance routines.
2- Mechanical Technician – Offshore

Minimum Competencies:
  • Mechanical Technologist Certificate in Mechanics or equivalent.
  • 3 years related experience in an industrial maintenance environment (preferably in the offshore or petrochemical / refinery industry).
  • Working knowledge of regulatory and industry codes applicable to the mechanical discipline.
  • Working knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance, condition monitoring and with the application of computerized maintenance management systems.
  • Familiarity with the theory and practice of rotating equipment and vibration analysis.
  • Experience with the operation and maintenance of gas turbine driven generators, diesel engines, multi-stage centrifugal pumps and compressors, HVAC systems, hydraulic systems and associated auxiliary mechanical equipment.
  • Knowledgeable and experienced in static mechanical equipment including pressure vessels, valves, heat ex-changers, and other process equipment of offshore topside.
  • Hands-on skills in use of workshop’s equipment including repair and fabric works.
  • Ability to read relevant technical drawings and piping specifications.
Specific Accountabilities:
  • Maintain integrity and perform safe and efficient maintenance of all mechanical systems and equipment on CPP and wellhead platform in accordance with established procedures.
  • Understand and follow all rules and procedures.
  • Report all hazardous conditions, near misses, accidents and system breakdowns.
  • Demonstrate the culture that no job is so routine or urgent that it cannot be done safely.
  • Use CMMS to control of daily mechanical maintenance activities and report data as required.
  • Adherence to Control of Work system while carrying out all activities.
  • Gathering of data in support of equipment condition monitoring.
  • Willingness and flexibility to be trained in all aspects of CPP operations.
